In Sydney’s Inner West suburb of Erskineville, The Rochford apartments transcend the typical, with rare spatial quality, outdoor rooms and abundant green space.

Balcony planter boxes embed landscape into the building’s exterior.

  • Apartments are designed from the inside out, from the point of view of privacy and light. A flexible layout oriented to catch daylight and breezes, also considers different living styles and needs. We reimagine the timber deck as a versatile outdoor room. Generously scaled balconies integrate seamlessly into living areas. Some apartments feature our outdoor kitchen design that turns balconies into dining rooms.

The Rochford won the Aaron Bolot Award for Multi-Residential Architecture, our state’s highest accolade for apartment design.

  • Inside, natural materials – timber, stone and marble – create a neutral, luxe palette that easily complements a range of styles, leaving room for personal expression.
