Amici

A transformative mixed-use development in Lewisham, in Sydneys Inner West, Amici brings 57 residential apartments onto a remnant industrial site.

  • Straddling Old Canterbury Road, near the Lewisham Light Rail station, Amici is a stitch in the urban fabric, seeding new communities. A generous through-site link creates new pedestrian, cyclist and transport connections for the neighbourhood, with a small amount of retail activating its street edges.

  • Conceived as part building, part landscape, the 8-storey building is sculpted into sections with apartment clusters around pocket gardens. A garden mews lobby entry and the through-site link extend the Cooks to Cove GreenWay into the new village, with McGregor Coxall (designers of the GreenWay), collaborating on Amici’s landscape.
